Nice cream is a game-changer. This vegan recipe is a healthy take on a classic favorite that will satisfy your creamy frozen craving this spring and summer.
Ingredients:
- 4 Cups Bananas
- 2-4 TBS Non-Dairy Milk (Oat Milk, Almond Milk, or Coconut Milk)
- 2 TBS Maple Syrup (optional)
Instructions:
Start by peeling two ripe bananas and slicing them into ½ inch rounds. Place the banana rounds onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, then place them into a freezer until frozen (6-12 hours is preferred). Once the banana rounds are frozen, remove them from the freezer, transfer the bananas from the baking sheet into a blender or food processor.
Add in the non-dairy milk of your choice by the tablespoon (for an added sweetness, add in maple syrup) and pulse until the mixture reaches a thick smoothie/soft severed-like consistency. Serve right away or return to the freezer until ready to serve for a scoop-able treat. Enjoy!
