When was the last time you had a burger craving? I can honestly say that mine was literally 5 minutes ago! There is no doubt that burgers, although so delicious are not usually the healthiest choice. We’ve all come across that craving and thought, “hm, maybe I shouldn’t indulge”… cue the turkey burger.
Turkey is a popular meat that boasts high-quality protein, B vitamins, selenium, zinc, and phosphorus. It may also support various aspects of health, including muscle growth and maintenance, due to its rich supply of nutrients.
Although still a burger, this healthier option will satisfy your craving without the guilt of red meat and if bread is too indulgent, serve the turkey burger patty over a bed of dark leafy greens or healthy grains.
